Over the years we have brought many interesting programs to our club and invite you to join us in the future. Here are some of the presentations we have enjoyed.

• Review of various operas by an expert from the Lyric Opera of Chicago.
• Salvation Army speaker offering information about services.
• 16th District Officer giving advice and suggestions about safety issues.
• North Side Director of the Dept of Aging with information about services.
• Speakers from Swedish Covenant and Resurrection Hospital.
• “Beagle Brigade” exhibiting the skills of the security dogs at O’Hare Airport.
• Local dealer appraising member’s treasures like the “Antiques Road Show”.

We have also participated in various tours to:

• Botanical Gardens
• 16th District Police Station
• Sweet Connection Bakery
• Whole Foods and Dominick’s Food Stores
• Cernan Earth and Space Center

We have celebrated many holidays and special occasions with luncheons at neighborhood restaurants, including a 100th birthday luncheon for one of our members.
